Meet Your Personal Totem Animal 
Saturday, April 12th, 2014 – 10am-5pm
Meeting your Totem Animals is to meet some of the Spirit Guides that Creator has given you to help you successfully become a “true human being” who honors all your relations.
In a specific Cherokee lineage that I apprenticed in, every person receives Power Animals from seven categories. The Four-Legged is the first one introduced to you. As your shamanic guide in this wonderful adventure, I will show you how to“journey” in a traditional way to find your Personal Totem Animal. You will recognize some of the gifts you may not have realized you have, You can discover ways to talk with your Totem and gain insight on questions you have and gain advice that can lead you to a greater degree of happiness and prosperity.
Wear comfortable clothes, bring a journal or something to write on, and come in a state of openness and receptive listening. You are sure to be impressed by what you hear from your Personal Totem!

 Design Your Own Altar

The busy-ness of life today is infamous for the amount of stress it imposes. The level of productivity expected of us leaves little time for getting the replenishment we need. All we may need is a moment’s peace. Just a moment in the space between our thoughts to connect with what means something to us.
An altar is a way of giving yourself a visual reminder – every time you walk by it, or stop to sit with it – of what is important to you. What would you like to give more attention to in your life? Is there something you want to do? Get a new job? Move your home or office? Find a new love? Would you like a place of honor for someone you loved, respected, or looked up to ~ someone who has passed but still lives in your heart, and whose influence you want to remember? Would you like to be more in tune with nature ~ the changing of the seasons or phases of the moon? Designing and constructing a personal altar helps you stay in touch with your dreams and puts energy toward what is important to you.
On this May Day, learn how to choose materials, dedicate space, and design an altar to energize your aspirations. Create for yourself the visual cue to connect all of what you are with all the possibility that awaits you.
